Hannah Rebekah Graves (she/they) is sighted only when trinkets are promised. Her most precious trinkets include moss and more moss. And maybe some graveyard dirt, but only if it’s legit and you didn’t take it directly from someone’s grave. Whilst little is known about Hannah Rebekah Graves, it is known that she’s not in line for being cursed.
Other facts about Hannah Rebekah Graves is that she is AuDHD with a heaping side of OCD and is thus told by every health professional she encounters, “You need to relax.” She is unable to translate this last word that they use and instead just goes further into her stress ball.
Hannah’s special interests are horror and Anne Boleyn. She enjoys both horror video games, horror books and… horror movies. Is there anything she enjoys that isn’t horror-related? Weeping.
(Even Anne Boleyn is kind of a horror story. Well, what was done to her, anyway. Not what she did.)
She lives in the redwoods with her wife and their adult child. She has too many animals to list, but what must be mentioned is He Who Rules the Nest, her baby boy and constant nuisance, a male cockatiel by the name of Bananakin. (Yes, he knows the Imperial March. Also, I thought the prequels were best and I’m not taking it back.)
Hannah has been writing and refusing to publish her work for as long as she’s been alive. (We hear she’s super old.) For a while, her wife, author Kelley York, had her coauthoring books under the penname Rowan Altwood, but soon Hannah realized that she was letting herself be seen by the public and she needed to go back into her stress ball.
Why is she back now? Because she’s older, probably dumber and seeing all the amazing work that she does as Graveside Press’ Acquisitions Manager just inspires her to type out her own little stories. (She has currently worked her way up to novella length. Will a full length novel be in her future one day? LMAO, probably not.)
Lastly, Hannah would like to say that Sephiroth and Cloud are a love story. She’s willing to die on that hill. (Wait, was that something about horror that she cared about?? But, with the Sephiroth element, you might be able to argue the horror element…)
